Virtual Creations Identity

Two logos that are both used by the client depending on needs. The graphic C logo can be used when a condensed more graphic logo is needed, while the text logo is used when it is essential for the name to be used. The concept for this logo was to capture how the company refines existing sites and applications and improves work flow through their applications. They also wanted a less literal interpretation of their name than the previous logo for a more professional feel.

The business card needed to provide more than just contact information. The developer wanted all of the languages and technologies he works in on the card, this was a real design challenge to incorporate all of that information on the card and make it readable. Each bullet point was a different type of information; one for languages, one for operating systems, and one for skill sets.

I also designed the website for Virtual Creations which can be seen here. The developer was responsible for all of the coding of the site. I designed the site using photoshop, and work with the client helping them determine the content. The goal with this website was to reinforce the look already created in the print peices, while conveying a sense of the company's personailty, both professional and fun-loving. They wanted the site to look 'simple, clean, and techy.' The color choices of white, 'LED blue' and orange give the site a youthful/techy feel without overpowering the content. I wanted to keep the site simple, but with just enough visual interest to keep the site from being boring. I did not want the design to overpower the content. The site also has a backend section where their clients can log in and see invoices, hours and other maintenance items.
